Avocado Toast

Ingredients

1 Large Avocado (or 2 Small)

Sea Salt

Black Pepper

4 Slices of your favorite Whole Grain or Sprouted Grain bread

Optional Toppings: sliced tomato, eggs (scrambled or fried)

Directions

  1. Toast 4 pieces of whole grain or sprouted grain bread. 
  2. While the bread is toasting, slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.  
  3. Mash the avocado well with a fork.
  4. Add sea salt and/or black pepper to taste.
  5. When the toast is ready, spread the avocado generously on to each slice.
  6. Add extra toppings, if desired.  
  7. Serve immediately.
